Up the hill we ride

At this point I started to get the giggles, not real keen on heights, so this was a little bit of a challenge.

Bikes in queenstown

Bikes are the summer option for queenstown, heaps and heaps of fitness folk enjoying the steep runs. Plenty of places to rent bikes and gear all over queenstown.

Gondola bike rack

It was entertaining to watch and travel on the skyline to the top of queenstown. The gondolas travel fast and don't stop just slow down enough to jump on and off.

Trees at kiwi wildlife park

This was a great little conservation park to wonder around look at native plants and animals and get a look at the local kiwi, in the dark and sorry no photos :(

We are special

How big is this pigeon, a feed and a half no wonder they are nearly extinct.

Fish in the natural spring at the kiwi park. Water was so clear.

The might Ferg

A photo of the mr big boss and Cajun cock. Onion rings which we couldn't finish. So big they are two handed burgers. Is NZ too far to travel for a burger??

In Ferg we trust

Yep we are back this is a must burger place in queenstown. The burgers are unbelievable and Ross is thinking of trying to have one for breaky before we fly out, shuttle at 9am! They are open 22hrs a day 7days a week and I know why food is great.

Dinner at the Cow

Pizza, pasta and garlic bread for dinner. It's good, Ross has spent most of the time in the toilet, I wonder why?!?!? Lets have a look!

This little road was the only way in or out to the winery at Chard Winery. Ross took this photo, I couldn't look over the edge or get out of the car to do it.

The go kart has been a great tour car to get around NZ. Not bad price at $50 nzd a day for 3 days unlimited Kms.

I felt like I was driving a go kart around these corners, Rocco not so happy with the go kart ride.

Best skate park venue

What a great place for a skate park, river side. We ate ice cream and wondered around the river.

Good chups

This photo does not do the food justice, even the colour is dark, the flavour was very good. Ross had blue cod and I had a delicious spring roll.

Big continental breakfast delivered to the room, it was good and this is a serve for one!

Little boutique town, little shops, more food and plenty of people walking the street.

Recycling in good use

So weather stops the post ? Move some junk on to a post and plant it at the top of the hill with your address on it and there you have it, mail all year round.
